About Church of Charity
Our Foundation
Rooted in love. Built on truth. Growing in holiness.
Mission
Raise holy disciples
Our mission is to raise holy disciples who love God completely and love people radically — transforming individuals, families, churches, and nations through the power of the Gospel.
We believe that genuine transformation begins with repentance and flourishes in community. Every person carries a divine purpose, and we exist to help them discover and walk in it.
Vision
A community of Christ Witnesses who lack nothing through love
Our vision is to be a community of Holy Disciples and Christ Witnesses, who lack nothing through love (Acts 4:34).
Who We Are
Church of Charity is a Christian church based in Canada, led by Pastor Alphonse Karenzi.
We exist for one purpose: to help people know Christ, grow in His Word, and live the Gospel — through worship, Bible teaching, prayer, fellowship, and discipleship.
Our ministry is currently delivered online, making Christian worship and biblical instruction accessible to anyone, wherever they are — homebound, distant, busy, or simply seeking.
Core Values
What we stand for
LOVE
Agape love — unconditional, sacrificial, and transforming — is the cornerstone of everything we do.
Truth
We are committed to the full counsel of God's Word, spoken with grace and lived with integrity.
Holiness
We pursue a life set apart — not by religious performance, but by genuine heart transformation.
Discipleship
We make disciples who make disciples — multiplying Kingdom impact across generations and nations.
THE ARK CONCEPT
A safe harbour for seeking souls
Just as Noah built the Ark before the flood and preached righteousness, Church of Charity is building a spiritual community that can withstand the storms of our generation. The Ark is not a building — it is a people build on love and truth of the word.
It is a community where the lost are found, the broken are healed, the weak are made strong, and the called are equipped. It is a place of safety, growth, and mission — a launching pad for world-changers.
When you join Church of Charity, you enter the Ark. You become part of something eternal.
